Gulfi – Reseva 2014 – DOC Etna

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a fine grain as well as intensity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe black berries and small notes of spices (nutmeg, gray pepper) associated with very fine hints of olivier/sense of the place as well as a subtle hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity, fres, juicy, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, gourmandize, a fine tension as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, crunchy raspberry and small notes of crunchy blackberry associated with fine touches of plum as well as subtle hints of black olive, pink laurel, flowers and subtle hints of sense of the place. There is an imperceptible hint of tobacco/chocolate on the persistence.
