The nose is fruity and offers concentration, a fine freshness. It reveals notes of small wild red fruits, cassis and small notes of raspberry/crunchy blackberry associated with a touch of gray pepper as well as very fine hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fresh frame, a fine juiciness, fat as well as a fine fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy/fleshy raspberry and small notes of juicy/fleshy blackberry associated with touches of crunchy/fresh cherry, a subtle varietal hint as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla/toasted and tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are structuring and very discreetly dry.
