Grand Vin de Puy Redon – Chardonnay 2021 – Vin de Pays de l’Atlantique

Grand Vin de Puy Redon – Chardonnay 2021 – Vin de Pays de l’Atlantique

The nose is fresh, fruity and shows some elegance and a fine complexity. There are notes of crunchy peach, juicy nectarine and, to a lesser extent, apple, combined with fine touches of lemon blossom and a subtle hint of citrus and fresh apricot. The palate is fresh, pulpy, juicy and offers a nice freshness, elegance in its volume, in its roundness, finesse, gourmandize, an acidic backbone, a fine airy side in the attack and structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of green/pulpy apple, juicy/acidic nectarine and, more slightly, lemon/mandarin, combined with small touches of tangy white fruit as well as fine notes of lemon/white blossom and a hint of pink grapefruit. Good length.
