It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, cassis and more slightly elderberries associated with fine notes of crushed strawberry, crushed redcurrant, small berries as well as subtle touches of flowers, camphor, discreet touches of Sichuan pepper, almond and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a beautiful fleshiness, a beautiful definition, a beautiful grain, a good structure, gourmandize, richness as well as a very fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly crushed red berries associated with small touches of cherry, discreet hints of flowers (violet, lily), almond, sweet spices, sugared mild tobacco (in the background) and a very discreet hint of fresh nut (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and beautiful persistence. There is a discreet hint of caramelization on the persistence.
