Grain de Nature par Pierre Naigeon – Les Corvées 2020 – Gevrey-Chambertin

(organic) The nose is fruity, elegant, delicious, and offers some nice richness in balance as well as chewiness/pulpiness. It reveals notes of pulpy/fleshy cherry, fleshy/juicy blackberries, and more slightly – toasted notes associated with slight touches of crushed plum, flowers, and fruits as well as slight hints of cornflower, toasted hazelnut, and a very discreet hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a tangy structure, purity (of the fruit), a nice definition, a nice flesh, and some fatness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, cherry, and slight hints of pulpy/juicy purple plum associated with touches of juicy blackberry, cornflower/lilac, and nutmeg as well as discreet hints of toast. The tannins are chewy. Presence of some chewiness on the finish/persistence.
