Goswin Kranz – 2017 Riesling Feinherb

Goswin Kranz – 2017 Riesling Feinherb

The nose is fruity and offers a fine delicacy as well as racy minerality. It reveals notes of lychee and ripe citrus fruit (grapefruit, lemon) combined with a hint of juicy quince, blood orange as well as a very discreet / imperceptible hint of rose (in the background). The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful suavity, a good definition, a fine acidulous frame, precision, a beautiful grain, richness, a fine tension, a fine aerial side as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lychee, juicy quince, exotic fruits (quenette …), juicy apple and small notes of citrus (tangerine, lemon) combined with touches of racy minerality. Good length.
