Goswin Kranz – 2017 Brauneberger Klostergarten Riesling Feinherb

Goswin Kranz – 2017 Brauneberger Klostergarten Riesling Feinherb

The nose is fruity, mineral and offers precision. It reveals notes of racy minerality, apple, crunchy nectarine and small notes of exotic fruit associated with slight hints of flowers and very fine tips of citrus (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, precise, racy and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, a ripe fruit / juicy / acidulous, freshness, tension, roundness, sweetness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy vine peach, crunchy brugnon and small notes of fleshy apple associated with touches of exotic fruits and citrus (tangerine, lemon, orange). Good length. There is a very fine chalky sensation on the finish.
