Very nice amber color, limpid and clear. Very nice floral nose with hints of roses. There are also grains and dried fruits such as apricot and orange. There is a beautiful complexity with a smoky side that emerges. It’s fresh and tangy with a touch of salted butter caramel. In the nose background, we smell rosewood. Lots of spices from the start with pepper, cinnamon and cloves… The palate is soft, velvety after this first powerful encounter. The rancio and the dried fruits appear with the dried apricot, the almond but also the pecan nut. The finish ends with vanilla and mocha. A whisky that deserves aeration and a slow tasting.
