Georges Duboeuf – Clos des 4 Vents – La Madone 2015 – Fleurie

Georges Duboeuf – Clos des 4 Vents – La Madone 2015 – Fleurie

The nose is fruity, gourmand, aromatic, slightly concentrated and offers elegance. It reveals notes of crushed cassis and dark chocolate associated with slight notes of blueberry, wild strawberry as well as toasted hints, spices and an imperceptible hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a slight acid frame, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful definition as well as a slight gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry, ripe cassis and juicy plum associated with toasted hints, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of coconut. Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistence. There is a hint of cacao on the persistence.
