The nose offers elegance, harmony, a certain gourmanides and a certain purity of fruit. There are notes of crushed cherry and more slightly crushed redcurrant combined with hints of violet plum, violet, racy/almost saline minerality and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is mineral, balanced and offers freshness, juiciness/minerality, good definition, tension, good structure and a fine uprightness. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy black berries, pulpy blackberry and slightly morello cherry notes combined with hints of violet, sweet blond tobacco, roast and fine hints of ripe wild red berries and toast. Good work on the bitter taste. Roundness and precision in gourmandise.
