The nose is a bit closed and a bit powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis combined with fine notes of cherry, licorice and a touch of red cherry, oak and roasting. The palate is fruity, silky, fat, well-balanced and offers suavity and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry, blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with fine hints of blueberry, toasted oak, sweet spices and a hint of chocolate. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence.
