Fulcrand Cabanon 2020 – Clairette du Languedoc

Fulcrand Cabanon 2020 – Clairette du Languedoc

The nose is aromatic and offers a racy minerality. It reveals notes of crushed nectarine, apple and small notes of quenette / passion fruit associated with touches of dried mandarin zest as well as fine hints of fresh garrigue. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers freshness, a good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame (on lemon zest and seeds). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh lemon, dried zest and small notes of mandarin associated with touches of quenette, passion fruit, fresh pine sap, slight hints of garrigue as well as a subtle hint of olive leaf (in the background) and beeswax. Good length.
