Fugue de Nénin 2010 – Pomerol

Fugue de Nénin 2010 – Pomerol

The nose is aromatic, finely powerful and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of redcurrant jam, cassis and fine notes of ripe wild strawberry combined with hints of chocolate, grilled oak, subtle hints of spices as well as a discreet hint of white pepper and cumin. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame, a fine minerality, a nice straightness / tension, a nice freshness as well as a nice, elegant and silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy blackberry, crushed redcurrant and cassis associated with touches of blackberry, wood as well as fine hints of wild strawberry and a subtle hint of caramelized oak on the finish. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
