Fruitière Vinicole de Voiteur 2011 – Château-Chalon

The nose is elegant, fine, aromatic and captivating. It reveals notes of cooked apple, nuts and small notes of flowers, acacia associated with touches of spices as well as a very discreet hint of caramel and verbena. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, well-built, precise, frank and offers delicacy, minerality, a small acidulous frame, a (very) slight unctuous texture and a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small yellow fruits, cooked apple and small notes of yellow grapes associated with small touches of fresh walnuts, hazelnut oil, flowers and spices. Good length and beautiful persistence. Beautiful freshness, fine tannic sensation and fine power on the finish. There is a very discreet hint of fresh almond on the aftertaste.
