Frey-Sohler – Riesling 2016 – Vieilles Vignes – Alsace

Frey-Sohler – Riesling 2016 – Vieilles Vignes – Alsace

The nose is aromatic as well as relatively full. It reveals notes of flowers, quenette and small touches of passion fruits associated with slight hints of apple, citrus and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, well-built and offers a beautiful volume, suavity, gourmandise, minerality as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of exotic fruits, yuzu/green lemon zests and small notes of citrus (lemon, green lemon, mandarin) associated with a subtle hint of watermelon, flat peach as well as slight hints of flowers. Good length and persistence.
