(Syrah/Grenache aged in oak barrels for 6 months) The nose is woody, a bit candied, with a touch of torrefaction (toast, coffee), dried Mediterranean herbs, red fruits (dried red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry wood, black plum, a touch of blackberry and prunes), with a hint of chocolate and red fruit jam. The palate is round and gourmand, very fruity (black plum, morello cherry, blackberry, dried red cherry), with a touch of chocolate and prunes and a slight sweetness. The finish is persistent and tangy.
