Fougeray de Beauclair – Les Seuvrées 2014 – Gevrey-Chambertin

Fougeray de Beauclair – Les Seuvrées 2014 – Gevrey-Chambertin

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of redcurrant, red cherry and a hint of crushed strawberry associated with slight notes of rose, spices as well as a discreet hint of minerality and leather. The wine needs to be decanted (carafe). The palate is fruity, mineral, silky and offers a slight acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, redcurrant and slight notes of concentrated cherry associated with hints of toasted oak, zan as well as a discreet hint of tobacco and rose. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
