The nose is fruity, gourmand, racy, elegant, quite fine and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of cassis/blueberry and chocolate associated with touches of wild strawberry, cherry, a discreet hint of redcurrant jam as well as hints of gray pepper, licorice stick, spices and an imperceptible hint of racy minerality. The palate is fruity, mineral, silky, slightly fleshy and offers a beautiful volume as well as a beautiful suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry, crushed/dried redcurrant associated with touches of cassis, fleshy violet plum as well as slight hints of licorice and chocolate. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. There is a very discreet hint of salinity and suavity on the finish.
