The nose is fine, powerful, incisive and offers a slight deepness. It reveals notes of redcurrant, wild berries and discreet notes of flowers/violet associated with slight touches of white pepper, racy minerality, black olive and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good suavity, softness as well as a fine harmony. In the mouth this wine expresses notes fleshy strawberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of blueberry, plum associated with a hint of violet, subtle hints of chocolate, caramelization, racy minerality, garrigue, vanilla as well as an imperceptible hint of black olive and undergrowth. Good length. There is a slight hint of chocolate and roasted almond. The aftertaste is slightly powerful.
