Florent Garaudet 2015 – Monthelie

The nose is gourmand, elegant, well-built and offers a fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of fleshy small berries associated with hints of chocolate, toasted, violet/Sichuan pepper and a discreet hint of tonka bean. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, well-balanced, well-built and offers a small freshness, a mineral frame, elegance as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy blackberry and small notes of fleshy wild raspberry associated with touches of chocolate, toasted and discreet hints of tonka bean (in the background).  Tannins are fine and elegant.
