Firriato – L’Ecrù 2016 – IGT Terre Siciliane

The nose is fruity and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of mirabelle, safran, flowers and small notes of dried yellow peach associated with a very discreet hint of cumin and spices. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, tension, precision, a fine unctuosity, a small fat as well as a small complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied peach, dry apricot, safran and small notes of candied kumquat associated with a hint of jam, flowers as well as a very discreet hint of toffee, ginger bread and toasted almond. Good length.
