The nose is aromatic, concentrated and offers elegance and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, flowers (lilies, cornflower) and wild strawberries associated with a small note of redcurrant, toasted oak as well as a hint of vanilla, a discreet hint of garrigue and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine juiciness, tension, delicacy, a beautiful straightness, harmony, a fine acidity, suavity, a nice freshness, a beautiful definition as well as a nice finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy Boysenberry, fleshy raspberry and juicy redcurrants associated with small touches of vanilla/wood, small toasted touches as well as a very discreet hint of Ceylon tea and cardamom. Tannins are fine and a bit chewy. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of colas on the persistence.
