Fifty Shades of Merlot by Alexia Eymas 2012 – Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

Fifty Shades of Merlot by Alexia Eymas 2012 – Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose reveals notes of black fruit, leather, espresso, tobacco, undergrowth and slight notes of pepper, red fruit and graphite. The palate is fresh, fleshy, dense, well-balanced, powerful, structured and quite concentrated. In the mouth it expresses notes of crushed strawberry, blackberry and blueberry associated with a few woody notes, notes of ripe red fruit and a few notes of mushroom. Tannins are well made. Good length
