The nose is fruity and offers a certain power, intensity as well as a very fine austere side. It reveals notes of cherry, quite ripe raspberry and small notes of small wild black berries associated with touches of racy minerality (almost saline), sweet spices as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of grey pepper. The palate is mineral, well-balanced and offers freshness, a fine acidulous frame as well as juiciness, a racy minerality, a certain tension and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, bright blackberryand small notes of small black berries associated with touches of fresh/juicy raspberry, toasted/chocolate, vanilla, a racy minerality (almost iodine) as well as a discreet hint of violet and toasted.
