The nose is fruity, gourmand, racy, voluptuous and quite elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, cassis and cherry combined with fine touches of juicy berries, earth / terracotta, a discreet note of blueberry, fine touches of spices as well as an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper and an imperceptible toasted hint. The palate is fruity, gourmande, harmonious, “clean”, racy, delicate and offers a nice suavity, fat, a fine unctuosity, a beautiful precision / definition, minerality, a good guideline, a beautiful matter and a fine fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cherry, dried raspberry and fine notes of crushed cassis, earth associated with fine touches of small ripe / juicy berries, zan, caramelized oak as well as subtle hints of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and good persistence. The persistence is gourmande and offers touches of chocolate, sweet spices and a discreet hint of roasted hazelnut.
