Feudo Maccari – Animardente – Contrada Santo Spirito 2019 – Etna DOC

The nose is fruity, elegant, with nicely pronounced red fruits and offers good definition, finesse, precision, harmony, freshness, depth, purity and subtle power. There are notes of juicy/acidic wild red berries, violets and a hint of volcanic rock with hints of zan and fine olive. The palate is mineral, balanced and reveals freshness, good definition, purity, nice fruit, some roundness and a fine oceanic feel. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy, juicy cherry, crunchy raspberry small notes of violet combined with hints of fresh violet plum, fine hints of olive, local grove as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, racy spice and a fine touch of rock/terroir. Good length.
