The nose offers persistence as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of pepper, candied mirabelle and small notes of candied quince associated with small fine touches of honey, almond and a hint of cumin and pistil of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, tension as well as precision, a good definition, gourmandize and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied apple, candied vine peach and small notes of apricot jam associated with small touches of quince and an imperceptible hint of exotic fruits/mandarine jam. Good length. Very fine hints of spices in the finish. Good persistence on an imperceptible hint of coffee/toffee.
