Fattoria Nicodemi – Le Murate 2017 – Trebbiano d’Abruzzo

The nose is fruity and offers elegance and a small freshness. It reveals notes of fresh apple, fresh pineapple and small notes of citrus (tangerine, kumquat) associated with small hints of white fruit, slight hints of juicy mirabelle plum as well as a (very) slight hint of flowers (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of apricot. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, well-built, slightly acidulous and offers a good definition, a mineral frame as well as a good fineness of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / fresh green apple and ripe / fresh citrus (grapefruit, lemon) associated with touches of flowers, juicy pineapple as well as a subtle hint of juicy quenette and mirabelle plum. Good length.
