The nose offers a fine intensity. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of boysenberry, ripe small fruits, small red berries and wild strawberry combined with hints of blueberry / violet, oak, tobacco, cuben pepper as well as small touches of olive, cedar and caramel / vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a nice minerality, freshness, a beautiful precision, a good guideline as well as suavity and a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of Boysenberry, crushed red berries and small notes of cassis associated with touches of raspberry, toasted touches and sweet spices. Tannins are chewy and very slightly firm. Good length and good persistence. Straightness on the finish. There is an imperceptible hint of undergrowth / truffle on the aftertaste.
