The nose is fruity and offers a small power as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries, spices and juniper berries associated with very discreet hints of toasted oak and tonka bean / cocoa. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, beautifully juicy and offers a slight mineral frame as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blueberry, boysenberry, ripe / fleshy strawberry Gariguette and small notes of Bigarreau cherry associated with slight touches of toasted / caramelized oak, an imperceptible hint of olive (in the background) as well as a very discreet hint of juniper, black olive, colas and chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
