The nose is fruity, well-balanced and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of juicy blackberry and raspberry combined with discreet hints of fleshy redcurrant and a very subtle hint of vanilla, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fresh, juicy, racy and offers a slight tension, a racy minerality and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy raspberry, ripe/juicy cassis and slight notes of cherry associated with discreet hints of toasted oak, chocolate and a subtle / discreet hint of vanilla. Good length and good persistence. There is a hint of caramelized oak on the aftertaste/ persistence.
