ESTERLIN Cléo Blanc de Blancs 2010

ESTERLIN Cléo Blanc de Blancs 2010

There is a nice persistent foam with fine bubbles that reveal a pale lemon colored wine. The nose is intense and fruity with pineapple, grapefruit and candied orange. We also have some spices like black pepper. Roasted notes appear with vanilla, toast and roasted hazelnut. Without forgetting an interesting grassy side with a touch of basil. The mouth is fresh on pineapple and butter. We have fine bubbles that accompany a light toast on brioche, vanilla and apple. The whole is fresh with a little astringency of the nut. There is a nice balance, it’s tasty on the finish with umami. This champagne has a long imprint on fresh walnut. The finish continues with a nice salivating lemony acidity and a hint of salt.
