Erdevik – Omnibus Lector, Chardonnay 2019

The nose is fruity and reveals a fine creaminess and structure. There are notes of ripe apple, toasted oak and, to a lesser extent, peach blossom, combined with fine touches of pepper, relatively ripe berries, fine vanilla and toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals minerality, acidity, gourmandize, freshness and a fine creaminess. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy apple, vanilla and more lightly white peach/flat peach combined with hints of toasted hazelnut, a subtle hint of fresh rose petal and a discreet touch of iris and toastiness. Nice acidity and sapidity on the finish/persistence.
