Erasmo 2010 – Maule Valley – Chile

The nose is fruity, powerful and aromatic. It reveals notes of strawberry, gooseberry and dried strawberry associated with a few notes of mushroom as well as slight notes of dried flower (violet, rose) and a touch of undergrowth. The palate is fruity, smooth, dense, fat and offers some harmony. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry, strawberry, gooseberry and dried cherry associated with a few oaky notes, slight notes of mushroom as well as small toasted notes and notes of coconut. Tannins are fine but a bit firm. Good length.
