The nose is finely powerful offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and wild raspberry combined with small/slight touches of wild black berries, spices, licorice, a discreet hint of violet as well as an imperceptible hint of oak and Sichuan pepper. The mouth is juicy, fruity, well-balanced, very slight tight and offers a slight acid frame, a slight minerality, gourmandise, a slight tension, finesse as well as a crunchy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and blackberry associated with fine hints of wild raspberry, licorice, Ceylon tea, cocoa as well as an imperceptible touch of oak, tobacco and espresso on the finish. Tannins are well-built. Good length. The finish is very fine.
