The nose is perfumed, and fruity, opening up with notes of red and black cherries, a touch of prunes, cherry compote, and strawberry pie. The palate is round and balanced with smooth acidity and velvety, well-managed tannins. There are notes of chocolate, vanilla, and a touch of sweet coconut in the background. Still easy to drink but with a certain complexity and finesse.
