The nose offers a small power, a fine intensity as well as a small peppery side. It reveals notes of bright Boysenberry, cherry and small notes of bright Quetsche plum associated with small touches of gray pepper as well as fine hints of zan, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, racy and offers a beautiful suave / juicy / fresh fruit, gourmandize, a fine tension, generosity, a certain purity of the fruit as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, juicy Quetsche plum and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of fleshy / fresh red cherry, hints of cherry blossoms, rose, sweet spices, minerality as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla flowers, hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of bay laurel (in the background). Tannins are well-built and elegant. The finish is suave and elegant.
