The nose is fruity and offers a certain deepness, a small concentration and a fine darkness. It reveals notes of small bright black berries, black cherry and small notes of small black plums associated with small touches of small bright red fruits, liquorice, graphite as well as a hint of coffee, a discreet hint black pepper and toast. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, delicacy, a small « darkness », a fine well-balanced concentration and an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black blackberry, bright cherry and small notes of bright cassis associated with touches of lily, violet as well as hints of coffee, zan, a subtle hint of bourbon vanilla. Tannins are precise, slight tight and structured. Good length. A tight finish. A subtle bitterness on the finish/persistence.
