The nose is fruity, elegant, racy, beautifully defined and offers complexity. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet plum, strawberry associated with touches of violet as well as fine hints of blueberry, cuben pepper, spices, a subtle hint of vanilla flowers and sugared mild tobacco. The palate is beautifully defined, gourmand, delicate, precise, aerial and offers an acidulous frame, precision, a very beautiful finesse of the grain as well as delicacy and a small racy power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, bright plum, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of raspberry, cherry blossom, violet as well as small hints of liquorice, cornflower, mild tobacco, sweet spices, a discreet hint of vanilla (in the background) and graphite. Good length. Tannins are elegant, precise and very discreetly firm. Very fine hints of chocolate and caramelization on the finish/persistence.
