The nose is well-built and offers a control power, a certain well-built concentration, a small richness as well as a fine grain and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe wild cassis, small notes of racy minerality/terroir associated with touches of cherry/ripe strawberry as well as fine hints of cherry blossom, pepper, a very discreet hint of cardamom, liquorice and an imperceptible hint of clove. The palate is fruity, finely tight, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a beautiful racy minerality, a small tension as well as a certain well-control richness and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/crushed cassis, bright cherry, small notes of bright blackberry associated with touches of small bright red berries as well as touches of small bright red berries, hints of racy minerality/terroir, tonka bean, toasted, a subtle hint of rose and vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
