The nose is elegant and offers power, a beautiful grain, intensity, a slight freshness as well as concentration (but in finesse). It reveals notes of boysenberry, ripe/crunchy strawberries and small touches of juicy cassis, liquorice, violet, crunchy / fresh small fruits associated with touches of colas, a very discreet touch of Sichuan pepper, caramelization, hazelnut as well as an imperceptible touch of flowers (violet, iris) and almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, well-built and offers a good definition, a fine juicy / acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse, a slight concentration, a fine fleshiness, a beautiful definition, gourmandise, a small tension as well as good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy cassis and fleshy blackberry associated with small touches of raspberry, strawberry as well as discreet hints of blueberry, subtle hints of black cherry, Zan, tobacco and very discreet hints of sweet spices. There are a hint of cocoa, coffee and a hint of almond on the aftertaste. Good length.
