The nose is aromatic, gourmand, elegant and offers concentration, richness as well as density. It reveals notes of chocolate, crushed blackberry and slight notes of crushed black berries combined with slight hints of fleshy raspberry, sweet spices, tonka bean as well as subtle hints of spices and subtle touches of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful finesse, juiciness, a slight acid frame, minerality, a beautiful fat, suavity as well as a certain depthness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, black cherry and slight notes of small wild black berries associated with touches of raspberry as well as subtle / discreet touches of blueberry (in the background), caramelized oak and touches of tonka bean. Tannins are fine and slightly firm / chewy. Good length.
