The nose is fresh, racy and offers some power. There are notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, ripe berries and more lightly peppery notes combined with fine touches of violet and discreet hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, juiciness, richness, roundness, a certain fullness and gourmandize. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, blackcurrant and slightly crushed redcurrant, combined with hints of chocolate, toasted hazelnut and a touch of almond. Good length. The tannins are fine and mellow.
