The nose is fruity, gourmand, fine, powerful and offers a slight minerality. It reveals notes of orange jam, datte and touches of apricot in syrup associated with touches of rancio/caramel, subtle hints of chocolate, grilled oak as well as a subtle hint of rosewood and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, round, fat, well-balanced, slightly unctuous, nicely fine, slightly soft and offers an acid frame and a slight gourmandise. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of peach, candied mandarin and slight notes of candied orange zests associated with a hint of crystallized lemon, touches of toasted oak, caramel as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and almond. Good length and persistence. There is a hint of chocolate on the aftertaste.
