Dopff & Irion – Sélection de Grains Nobles, Gewurztraminer 2015 – Alsace

The nose is fruity and offers a small intensity, a small freshness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of brugnon, pear and small notes of crushed apple associated with small touches of rose / white flowers, candied citrus, minerality and an imperceptible touch of spice. The palate is fruity, fine, well- balanced, precise and offers a certain delicacy, a fine suavity, a fresh frame, minerality, a good guideline as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crystallized lemon, candied apple and small notes of peach in syrup associated with small touches of crystallized tangerine, juicy / ripe pineapple, subtle hints of juicy quenette and as well as imperceptible hint of beeswax and spices.
