The nose is aromatic, full and relatively rich. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, blackberry and cassis combined with fine notes of spices, a hint of undergrowth and a discreet note of licorice. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine freshness, an acid frame, fat, suavity as well as a fine saline minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, raspberry and fine notes of blackberry associated with discreet touches of cassis, licorice as well as a discreet notes of dark chocolate, sweet spices and oak. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length.
