Domaines Schlumberger – Gewurztraminer 2015 – Alsace Grand Cru, Kessler

The nose is aromatic, racy, slightly powerful and offers a small complexity. It reveals notes of apple, litchi and small notes of flowers associated with discreet hints of exotic fruits, fleshy peach as well as an imperceptible hint of racy minerality and spices. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced, elegant and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, a very fine tension, precision, fat, roundness as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quenette, litchi and small notes of fleshy peach combined with fine touches of mango, discrete hints of ripe citrus (sweet pink grapefruit, sweet lime) as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers and rose.
