Domaine Vintur Blanc 2020 – Ventoux

(Organic) The wine shows a pale lemon straw colour with a platinum tinge. The nose is slightly reductive and smoky initially, later opening up with notes of white apples, lemons, a touch of dried Mediterranean herbs, very pronounced minerality. The palate is fresh and juicy, pleasantly round and creamy, with balanced acidity and intense warming sensation on the back-palate. The wine demonstrates nuances of yellow pears, a hint of pineapple, a touch of garrigue and pronounced saline notes. The typical bitterness on the finish is well-balanced and gives a nice kick to the overall complexity.
