A wine with a light ruby and garnet colour. The nose is light, predominantly spicy and a bit smoky. The palate follows the same pattern, adding a little more fruitiness. Light on the palate, the wine is quickly taken over by red fruits, followed by spices. The tannins are supple on the whole but tighten slightly on the finish. This wine will need to be laid down for a year before it is fully ready to drink.
