Domaine Vigot Fabrice – Vieilles Vignes 2019 – Nuits-Saint-Georges

The nose is flowery and offers fruit, intensity (in elegance), a certain straightness as well as fullness. An invitation to take time. It reveals notes of fresh/juicy cherry, bright redcurrant and small notes of juicy/fresh plum associated with touches of violet, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of tobacco. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, roundness, a small spherical side and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, creamy redcurrant and slight notes of bright raspberry associated with a touch of fleshy cherry, fresh flowers and a discreet hint of tea/vanilla. Tannins are elegant, precise and structuring. Good length. A fine unctuosity on the finish/persistence.
